Jacksonville Theological Seminary (JTS) is registered with the Commission for Independent Education of the Florida Department of Education as a Religious Institution, and therefore is exempt from Licensure by Florida State Statute.

JTS is proud to be accredited by the Accrediting Commission International, Inc. ACI is not affiliated with any governmental accrediting agency, and is solely committed to Christian education.

The purpose of Accreditation is to:

• certify that an institution has met established standards of excellence;

• assist prospective students in identifying reputable institutions which offers degree programs that will meet their needs and goals;

• allow institutions to evaluate the acceptability of transfer credits into their own curricula programs.

JTS Alumni

The fall of 1993 saw the birth of the Jacksonville Theological Seminary Alumni with thirty-five former students.  The first Alumni Banquet was held in 1997 during graduation weekend.  The Alumni helps with scholarships, especially for people incarcerated in state prisons and students in other nations.
