CC 6333 Blame It on the Brain Textbook

This course offers the student biblical and scientific information on alcoholism,
homosexuality, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, ADD, psychiatric problems, and brain
dysfunction. Dr. Welch looks at these things through the lens of Scripture, separating and
distinguishing what is actually a brain problem and what is a sin problem.
CC 6343 The Biblical Basis of Christian Counseling Textbook

This course will give the student a practical working knowledge of Scripture and the
basics of the Christian faith. This course will help the student to relate the basic
teachings of Scripture to people’s problems. It is the core of what Christian counselors

This course offers understanding and competency in counseling with couples that are at
various stages of their relationship, from pre-marriage counseling to the loss of a spouse.
This course will assist the student in educating couples on how to side step possible
relationship-ending mistakes.
CC 6393 Holy Matrimony The Image of God in The Family Textbook

This course deals with the admiration and imitation of God as the purpose in marriage
and God’s method for a healthy marriage. This course guides couples in marriage and
parenting while providing research ideas for pastors, teachers, counselors and leaders
who set Church policies on marriage.
