DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
1. Choose Three (3) Courses from the Christian Counseling section under Description of
Courses.
2. Choose any Seven (7) additional courses from courses listed under Description of Courses.
Note 1: If the student has not taken BS 613 The Gifts and The Calling of God,
CC 6463 The First 48 Hours, CC 633 Ethics and Legal Issues in Christian Counseling,
or CC 6123 Crisis Counseling and Pastoral Psychology, he or she must take these
courses at this time. In addition, if the student has had no experience in Counseling,
he or she must do CC 613 Counseling Practicum.
Note 2: In order to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling, a student
must have a minimum of forty-five (45) hours in Counseling.
DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN BIBLICAL CRISIS COUNSELING
1. Choose Three (3) Courses from the Biblical Crisis Counseling section
under Description of Courses.
2. Choose any Seven (7) additional courses from courses listed under Description of
Courses.
Note 1: If the student has not taken BS 613 The Gifts and The Calling of God,
BCC 613 Biblical Crisis Counseling, BCC 623 The First 48 Hours, or BCC 633 Crisis
Counseling for Pastors and Professionals, he or she must take these courses at this
time. In addition, if the student has had no experience in Counseling, he or she must
complete a degree in Christian Counseling prior to entering a degree in Biblical Crisis
Counseling.
Note 2: In order to receive a Doctorate in Biblical Crisis Counseling, a student must
have a minimum of forty-five (45) hours in Biblical Crisis Counseling.
