Clinical Christian Counseling Program Instructions
Ph.D. Level

You have 2 months to complete each course. If you need an extension, you must contact your
supervisor, or you may be put on the inactive list. If using information in your written work that comes
from outside sources, please list these sources in bibliography. All work must be typed 14 font/double
spaced and in students’ own words (what 1 learned, how I will use it in my counseling, how
beneficial I found information, etc.) Student's paper will be graded on content & grammar.

Christian Counseling: Integrating Temperament & Psychology Textbook with 1 proctored exam,100 Question Test
Mastering Pastoral Counseling
Basic Christian Counseling
Counseling the Co-dependent
Quality, Ethics & Legal Issues in Christian Counseling

Temperament Case Studies / Practicum Textbook, write a case study on one of the people you have
given the APS & have seen for at least 3 counseling session
using a similar format from textbook. Submit to supervisor for
grading.

Dissertation In addition to the required courses needed to earn a PHD
degree, you will need to complete a Dissertation in MLA form
of not less than one hundred (100) typewritten double-spaced
pages, but not more than one-hundred twenty-five (125)
typewritten double-spaced pages. The dissertation should be
hard bound and maid to the main office for grading. The
dissertation must consist of fifteen (15) outside sources and the
topic must be pre-approved by the Academic Dean of
Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
