BO 213 Step by Step Through the Old Testament Workbook

This course is a study of the Books of the Old Testament with emphasis on the writer, the
time and date of the writing, the reason for the writing, and how message affected Israel
and Christians today.

BO 223 The Book of Genesis Workbook
This course is a workbook that takes the student through the book of Genesis, not only
looking for the content, but also helping him find God’s message in the book for his own
life.

BO 233 The Book of Exodus Workbook
This course is a workbook that takes the student through the book of Exodus, not only
looking for the content, but also helping him find God’s message in the book for his own
life.

BO 273 The Book of Joshua Workbook
This course consists of a workbook that takes the student through the book of Joshua, not
only looking for the content, but helping him find God’s message in the book for his own
life.

BO 283 The Judges of Israel Audio

This course is an overview of Moses and Joshua before and after the occupation. Then with
the leaders of Israel after the time of the elders who outlived Joshua until the time of the
Monarch. Their purpose is expressed in Judges 2:16 “Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges,
which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.”

BO 2103 The Books of Ruth and Esther Workbook
This course consists of a workbook that takes the student through the books of Ruth and
Esther, not only looking for the content, but helping him find God’s message in these books
for his own life.

The Book of Ruth, taught, by our founder, deals with the cameo story of love, devotion, and
redemption set in the black context of the days of the judges. Emphasis is given to the
faithfulness of Ruth in a time of national faithlessness. The book of Esther, by our founder,
is likened to Christ in that she puts herself in the place of death for her people but receives
the approval of the king. This study also demonstrates how she portrays Christ’s work as
Advocate on our behalf.
