JTS TRANSCRIPTS

“Unofficial” transcripts will be sent to the student upon request; however, an “official” transcript may
be sent to the student as long as the student understands that if the envelope is opened, the transcript is
no longer “official”. “Official” transcripts will be sent to an institution at the student’s written request.
Transcripts will be provided for a fee of $5.00 each. “Acceptance of transfer credits from this
institution to other institutions is at the discretion of the receiving institution”. (Please note: All
JTS accounts must be paid in full before any transcript can be sent).

                                          GRADUATION INFORMATION

Reserve Memorial Day weekend in May for your graduation ceremony! Each year JTS graduates come
to Jacksonville, Florida, USA, turn their tassels in celebration of earning a seminary degree. Attendance
is not mandatory, but it is strongly urged. This will be an opportunity to meet instructors and
administrators face to face. It will give the student an idea of the worldwide impact his Alma Mater
enjoys. The commencement address will make one cry, laugh, and shout! It is guaranteed to be a night
            never to be forgotten!

While the seminary is not a travel agency, we do try to assist students in need of guidance in locating
hotel accommodations for graduation. When possible we try to obtain group rates at selected hotels.
Notification will be given in advance of any special arrangements that have been made. If traveling
from a long distance, let us know so that we can extend special consideration and recognition at
            commencement.

Degrees are normally awarded annually during the month of May. However, they may be awarded when
degree plans are completed, and all financial obligations to JTS are satisfied. Presentations of degrees
may be made at the graduation exercises, or sent directly to students through the mail when studies are
            completed.

                                                      JTS ALUMNI

The fall of 1993 saw the birth of the Jacksonville Theological Seminary Alumni with thirty-five former
students. The first Alumni Banquet was held in 1997 during graduation weekend. The Alumni helps
with scholarships, especially for people incarcerated in state prisons and students in other nations. Today
the JTS Alumni are touching people through the United States, and throughout the world with the
Gospel message of Jesus Christ. If you are a graduate of JTS, or a former student, join JTS Alumni
TODAY, and be part of what God is doing through our JTS family.
