MASTER DEGREE PROGRAM
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree Plus 30 Credit Hours of Master's level work.
Materials for each course in this program consist of audio lectures, a textbook, or a workbook. Students
are required to listen to the audio lectures, to read the textbook and to answer the questions prepared for
each course. Answer sheets are provided for that purpose. This process may require listening to the
audio lectures or reading the textbook several times. Students are then required to prepare an outline
of the contents of each audio lesson, or each chapter in the textbook. In addition, students are required
to write a seven paragraph essay describing five points of the book or audio course that spoke to them.
Also, students are required to read an ADDITIONAL book that is related to the subject matter being
taught and to prepare a five-page book report of that ADDITIONAL book. All Outlines, Essays, and
Book Reports are to be written as per the format provided in the appendix of this catalog and must have
a cover page.
For each course in the Master Degree Program, the course Test will comprise 40%, the Outlines will
comprise 10%, the Essays will comprise 20%, and the Book Report will comprise 30% of the course
grade. All scores will be averaged together for one grade
In addition to the required course of study, students receiving a degree in Divinity, Theology, or whose
nomenclature reads “Arts” are required to submit a Thesis of no less than fifty (50) and no more
than seventy-five (75) typewritten (double-spaced) pages with eight (8) outside resources on a subject
pre-approved by the Academic Dean.
NOTE: A student cannot begin studies in a new course unless all requirements for the
previous course have been completed and submitted.
Special Note: If a student is changing his or her field of study from what it was in the
Bachelor’s degree to a different field for the Master’s degree, he or she will
have to take additional courses to ensure competency in the new field of
study. If the student has not taken The Gifts and The Calling of God, this
course must be taken in addition to any other requirements for a degree.
