                   3.     DV   5193 Hospital Ministry (The Role of a Chaplain Today)              3 hours
                   4.     Choose  any  Seven  (7)  additional  courses  from  courses  listed  under  Description  of
                          Courses.

                          Note 1: If the student has not taken BS 513 The Gifts and The Calling of God,
                          TH5123 Comparative Religions & Hermeneutics, TH5223 A Survey of Bible Doctrine,
                          TH5233 Know What You Believe, DV 523 Crisis Counseling and Pastoral Psychology,
                          DV 533  Ethics and Legal Issues in Christian  Counseling, DV 563  Pastoral Care in
                          Hospitals, DV 573 Crisis and Trauma Counseling, or DV 5353 The First 48 Hours, he
                          or  she  must  take  these  courses  at  this  time.      In  addition,  if  the  student  has  no
                          experience  in  chaplaincy  work,  he  or  she  must  do  DV  513  Divinity  Hospital
                          Practicum.

                          Note 2:  In order to receive a Master’s Degree in Divinity, a student  must have a
                          minimum of twenty-seven (27) hours in Divinity.

                          Note 3:  In addition to the above requirements, a thesis is required.


                                    MASTER OF DIVINITY (Prison Ministry)

                   1.     Choose Three (3) Courses from the Divinity section under Description of Courses.

                   2.     Choose  any  Seven  (7)  additional  courses  from  courses  listed  under  Description  of
                          Courses.

                          Note 1: If the student has not taken BS 513 The Gifts and The Calling of God,
                          TH5123 Comparative Religions & Hermeneutics, TH5223 A Survey of Bible Doctrine,
                          TH5233 Know What You Believe, DV 523 Crisis Counseling and Pastoral Psychology,
                          DV 5233 Chaplains to the Imprisoned, DV 5243 The Principles of Prison Ministry, DV
                          5253  Prison  Ministry:  Understanding  Prison  Culture  Inside  and  Out,  DV  5263
                          Effective  Jail  &  Prison  Ministry  for  the  21st  Century,  he  or  she  must  take  these
                          courses  at  this  time.    In  addition,  if  the  student  has  no  experience  in  chaplaincy
                          work, he or she must do DV 513 Divinity Prison Practicum.
